Leading aim of the CAAM professionals is the early detection of all forms of allergy and the timely personalized treatment.
For that we have created the first and unique specialist healthcare network for patients suffering from allergic diseases. Network Centers are evaluated by the CAAM specialists for their general organization, ability and initiative in giving support to the CAAM activities, and for all those quality parameters that show the best ability to tackle the problems of allergic patients. The network centers are subjected to inspection of the above parameters as well as the CAAM is expected to contribute to the overall quality of the individual centers.
In the CAAM network patients of all ages (0-104 yo) are followed up if affected by:
We perform clinical and laboratory investigations aiming at allergy diagnosis:
We perform therapies aiming at personalized treatment of the allergic disease:
All these diagnostic and therapeutic activities are performed in clinical offices and when needed in safe environments (Day Care or Day Hospital).
Within the Centers of the CAAM Network blood drawings for the nanotechnology-based molecular test are performed. CAAM and its partners have made available the second generation allergy test named FABER, patient-Friendly Allergen nano-Bead aRray. This test is used to identify allergies by detecting specific IgE using allergenic molecules. The tests on samples collected within the Centers of the CAAM Network are exclusively performed in the CAAM reference lab itself. All test procedures, from getting the sample, to testing and electronic reporting, are under the constant supervision of CAAM experts. In case of positive tests in the electronic report (pdf) of the test, active links are available for both "Allergen" and "Molecule Name". These links are available only from the electronic copy which can be forwarded by contacting caam.laboratorio@caam-allergy.com. Links perform searches in the Allergome database aiming only to supply additional info on the allergen and on the allergen group. Such info, as well as the whole test result, must be always evaluated with the personal reference doctor. At such regard, CAAM specialists offer the highest professional and scientific expertise.
The test report is available in Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Greek, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Ukrainian.
Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Greek, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Ukrainian reports include general comments for each allergenic preparation used in the tests. Comments are dynamically generated by CAAM specialists. The comment updates are immediately visible on the CDRS even for previously released reports.
The current nanotechnology-based tests are offered at the lowest possible cost.

The CAAM specialist healthcare network is organized within the Regions. The centers, large and small, hosting CAAM centers have been chosen based on their location, accessibility, operational and healthcare relevance.
The Centers at the CAAM network levels where specialists do operate are identified as "Associated Centers" if a CAAM specialist operates within the Center, or "Affiliated Centers" if the center's specialists are tighly in touch with CAAM doing professional and scientific exchanges.
Below the dynamic map of the CAAM network:
Beside the horizontal distribution, the CAAM network has a vertical, pyramid-like, second one, which depends on the diagnostic and therapeutic interventions executable in each network knot, and on the lab and research activities.
Based on that, the centers of the CAAM network are distributed in 4 levels of complexity in 10 Countries:
Here the centers reflecting criteria to be included in the CAAM network Level IV. In such centers several Associated or Affiliated CAAM specialists are active, performing all clinical activities, like visits, ambulatory diagnostic tests, the most complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures requiring the safest environment, made available within the centers themselves. In these centers is possible to have blood drawing for the IgE nano-technology based test. The Level IV centers are:
The centers where one or more CAAM doctors operate, performing visits, ambulatory diagnostic tests, and the diagnostic and therapeutic interventions not requiring the safest environment, are included in the CAAM network Level III. In all centers blood drawing for the IgE nano-technology-based test is available. They are:
The centers where Associated or Affiliated CAAM doctors operate as single, also defined office, where visits, ambulatory diagnostic tests, and the diagnostic and therapeutic intervention requiring of the lowest complexity not needing the safest environment, are included in the CAAM network Level II. They are:

The CAAM network Level I in Italy includes centers where just blood drawings for the nanotechnology-based IgE test are possible. As for blood samples obtained from all other network knots and centers, blood samples converge in the CAAM reference lab at Sermolab S.r.l. for test execution by CAAM expert technicians. All centers, not included in the previous levels, belong to Level I and can be found directly on the map, which is continuously updated.

The CAAM network of allergy healthcare services is supported by a computerized management system of patient records. The InterAll electronic record is in the cloud, thus being web accessible but only by CAAM professionals, using all the latest data encryption procedures and obscuring systems to hide the identity of the patients themselves. The accessibility to specialized healthcare throughout the network allows the patient to move within the network on the basis of her/his personal needs, shortening the access distances and reducing the indirect costs of the assistance. At the same time, the same CAAM network system can offer to the patient healthcare levels of increasing complexity and adapt them to the diagnostic and therapeutic needs of the patient. Moving the patient to another node of the CAAM network is then driven only by the needs of the patient and supported by the presence of the same specialists who use the same clinical data memory in all centers. Even the intervention of one of the CAAM specialists, completing the diagnostic and therapeutic process started by another, is possible thanks to the professional continuity within the CAAM and to the IT network infrastructure of the network. In this way, each patient has its own CAAM specialist available, and the other four CAAM specialists who can follow her/him up.
The optimized healthcare service made by CAAM organization can offer the same high level of specialist services in all network centers. These are only different because of the different operations in the different centers of the network, regardless any economic factors. In fact, the variable cost of the interventions for the patient in the different network centers depends on the agreements between the hosting centers and the CAAM. You can learn more about these costs when booking visits or diagnostic tests; that allows the patient to choose the same healthcare she/he needs based on the nearest network center and the financial commitment closer to her/his needs.
CAAM specialists and researchers have shown that the healthcare activity leads to increase the knowledge providing that the collection of clinical and diagnostic data is structured from the beginning. For this purpose the network structure supported by the information technology infrastructure allows the collection of data in real time and in perspective. The following systematic analysis of these data allows the diseases monitoring.
Main features of this strategy is the enhancing of data collection from the routine testing and the lack of investment needs to do research otherwise impossible.
